Stock bose stereo..black knobs or silver?

my bose stereo that is in my 91 nsx has silver knobs on it. Yesterday, i met up with a owner of a 95 nsx and noticed the knobs were black. Were the radio's different between the years?

Your radio mostly likely were replaced with a 02 or newer unit, or just the knobs were replaced.

ny '97 had black knobs. my '02 has silver. fyi.
