How did you like the dual supertrapp setup?

It is not my car, but I have Supertrap. I changed out the tips to Banzai resonating tips. None of my baffles are in.

The car sounds rough and tinny at start up, but sounds cleaner after the exhaust warms up. VERY loud, especially at WOT. The design could be better and am currently installing a Taitec CE to match my Taitec headers and test pipes.

Maybe I'm asking a dumb question here, but how in the world does the exhaust gas get out of the muffler with two caps over the openings?

There are a bunch of discs behind that cap and the more discs the louder, but more flow the exhaust provides. This will explain it to you:

That is weird, it looks like they simply capped the exhaust! I agree, it's ugly. Gimme my big fatty comptech pipes anyday! :biggrin:

I had a 1991 Suzuki Katana 600, it was my first bike ever. It had a SUPERTRAP exhaust....It sucked, I sold it and bought a Honda F2 with a real pipe!!!

SUPERTRAP= Super Crap .....IMHO

They aren't the most appealing in terms of looks, but for the proper applications they serve a purpose. You can remove/add plate to give more or less back pressure, which is sometimes neccesary.

They also work good for tracks with sounds limits to baffle the sound.

Just my .02, but I agree they're ungly.

you need to do a better job of blurring the plate... it's obviously Michigan plate "BLK 001" :biggrin:
