Dito. I dont know any tuner who will just says whats the car and send a tune. There are way too many factors, more than just a car and a map. Thats a gamble tuning without a dyno.

It is actually very common these days, with proper logging and wideband sensors it can be done safely.

I has tuned cars outside the US by swapping emails and files back and forth.

Um, internet tuning is common for piggyback systems where the OEM ECU is calling most of the shots, but for a new standalone I wouldn't recommend it. Too many variables to initially tackle.

fwiw, I had my ford gt internet tuned while on the dyno. then I had 2 tuners in agreement over the tune vs just one.
