I guess everyone else is done too, even looking at this sub forum. I need to take it off my home page or whatever it is. I live in Loveland, Colorado mostly but my hottie 2005 Long Beach Blue Pearl is at my Orange County house. I'm there about every 6 weeks. In any case it's too bad that this forum and subform died, right? South Coast Acura used to be fun to go to for monthly hellos. Les's meets/drives were a delight. Do any of you still do monthly meets? I'd post a photo but this forum is anti-photo-friendly. I was in SoCal last week and drove my NSX to Palomar Mountain for an ElliptiGO meet.

So for 2021 the new NSX is coming out in Long Beach Blue Pearl. That I want to see. The pictures don't look like the old Long Beach Blue Pearl so I'm wondering about that.

I thought the same thing!

This isn’t LBBP!? But whatever, the internet is mad Honda won’t invest more money into a car no one buys lol

I gotta say, in all honesty it’s a really great car.

Terrible NSX though

That's an interesting way of looking at it. Maybe if they had named it something besides NSX it would have sold more. What do you think, Jonathan?

I don’t think it would have sold many more units to be honest, but at least people who have never driven one would stop complaining that it sucks.

The endless comparisons are ridiculous, you expect a company in 2020 to recreate the same car from 40 years ago?

People don’t want drivers cars now, they want infotainment systems that automatically sync with their phones and a spec sheet they can share on social media

Sigh, sad indeed. I look back at my 5,400+ posts and realize how much time and comradery spent here in this community only to realize that it will *poof* vaporize into the ethers of the digital world. I suppose it's a bit of a metaphor for life in that no matter how relevant things seem at the time, that it too will soon be lost and forgotten; a faded thought that only exists in the minds of a dwindling few; a grave no longer visited. I take some solace that it hasn't quite "died", rather it metamorphized into alternate forms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, much like my NSX life has moved on to things like my family and mostly focused on spending as much time with my daughter as I can. I'd like to think I made the most of it while I was around and I can always say, it was fun while it lasted.

I almost could come but I fly back to Colorado at 11:55 AM that morning. I am hoping the Cars and Coffee in San Clemente won't be shut down on Dec. 12th! I used to go to the Cars and Coffee in Irvine but once I bought my NSX I had no need to go there to see one. :biggrin:

I have the NSX in CA and the Laguna Blue S2000 in CO. Sold the Suzuka blue.

I now have a 2017 Valencia Red Pearl with 3,500 miles on it in Loveland, Colorado.

Pictures or it didn't happen:wink::biggrin:

Thank you, Gene! Gene found my 2005 LBBP in Chicago, that I bought in March 2009. I found this one myself. It was at Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island. I sold some of my Tesla stock for it. Now if it would just warm up enough to melt the snow in my neighborhood and on my driveway, I could drive it. I put 5 miles on it after it was delivered on Friday, Feb. 12th when it was 5*F, before driving it very carefully up my long and steep snow covered driveway.

^As when I saw this same looking car at South Coast Acura, I still hate that carbon fiber spoiler. It looks so tacked on.

^I had it in my detached garage for a few hours right after I took delivery but then put my Pilot in there and put the red hot in the attached garage where I can see it.
