Clean 1991 NSX Black/Black 53k miles

I regrettably need to sell my 91 NSX. I have put a deposit on an 02 Black Targa, and as much as I would like to have both… I need to keep my fiancé over having 2 NSXs. The Autocheck is clean and so is the title, which is clean and without liens in my hand. The car has 53,300 miles on it as of today. I have had it out three times this spring, once to have it serviced. I have a pile of service records from all service and work from new ( I can send a list of all work or pics of the records to anyone who needs them. The car has been meticulously maintained through its 60k service that was done about 3 weeks ago. There are some tiny chips here and there, but nothing glairing. The car is very clean inside and out… but it isn’t a flawless garage queen. I hope someone here can enjoy it as much as I have. If I don’t sell it within a couple weeks here, I will be trading it on the ’02… but I thought I would offer it here first. I am asking 29k ***NOTE! IF you would like, I will sell the car without the rims and exhaust for 26k!***

joe, i sent you $500 deposit 3 weeks ago , and after you faxed me a fake dealer inspection you haven't answered my calls about sending my deposit back, please send me my money back and hopefully no one else on this site falls for it. i don't even think the car exists. so if you gonna keep this money and you want it this way then may be this will save someone else from your scam. ralph

So was this really a scam? Can someone read the license plate off of that one pic? I will try to enlarge and read, but I have a really old computer. There has to be some software that can enlarge and sharpen that plate image. Let's get ralph is money back!

This is not a scam at all. The car is sitting in my garage right now. I purchased it last weekend, in "better than described" condition. I did briefly hear of what happened with Ralph, but it is certainly not my place to respond, as this is just heresay.

I have left the previous owner a voice mail about this and I am confident he will respond to the above allegations. Always keep in mind, there are two sides to every story.

As Chris said above, the car is sold and there was no scam going on with my
car!

In response to Ralph's comments... I think its interesting you failed to tell
the story wholly and truthfully. Ralph and I spoke around the first week of June
about my NSX. He said he wanted the car and we agreed on a price and that I
would hold the car for him until he secured financing. Literally weeks passed
while Ralph tried for loans through banks and home equity lines of credit. In
the mean time, he told me he wanted the headers I bought for the car but had
never installed. I agreed to have them installed (cost of $320). Further, I
agreed to drive the car to meet him 5 hours away. Ralph also asked me to have
the car inspected for him as it was required by his new found lender. Next, I
spoke to a lease person whom Ralph had made arrangements with ... we are talking
over a month from our first contact to make finance arrangements ... and he
informed me Ralph lied and there was an inspection was not necessary as far as
he was concerned. I explained to him a year ago when I
bought the car, I had it inspected and had since put approx. 3-4k miles on the
car along with new brakes/tires/ect. I faxed the copy of that report to Ralph.
He then contacted my local dealer on his own and was told the report didn't come
from them, and proceeded to call and tell me his lease company would not finance
the car at that point because of a question with the inspection and he could not
buy the car. I then talked to the guy from the lease company immediately after
that conversation with Ralph to find he had no problem about the car and would
follow through with the sale if Ralph and I worked things out. Ralph called the
next day and demanded his deposit back and said he was not buying my car. Since
I had numerous emails and calls of interest on my car, I called the shop it was
at and had them remove the headers so I could sell it as advertised and recoup
my money from the headers. Cost again ($320). Now I am at a total of $640 for
installation and removal of hea
ders on the car.

Ralph, I offer this publicly:
1) If you would like to send me a check for the $640 I spent installing and
removing headers on the car that you committed to buying but then decided
against... I will send you a check for your $500 deposit.
2) If you truly feel I scamed you out of a deposit on my car ... find a mediator
service and we will lay out all the facts and let them decide what is fair.
3) If you would like, file a claim in small claims court and I will gladly
appear and we can let a judge decide.

I will not address this issue on Prime again. I have been a member of this site
for over a year and I have had all positive experiences with other members in
transactions and get togethers. I will not allow you to annoy me and cause
problems for me with libelous accusations. Chris (PsychDoc) called me and had
the car checked out a few days later ... and picked it up that weekend. He is
happy with the car and I am happy with him as a buyer, a person with proper
finances, a person who I know will take care of my baby, and a genuinely nice
guy.
