Hey guys, Figured it was good enough to post on now. Bought this 1 of 4 silver ivory NSX from another prime member after a mishap on the track. Here are a few pics as I bought the car:
After tearing it apart and looking it over we found the frame was slightly pushed over. Approx one inch. Sent it to a local body shop and had the car pulled. It came out easily and straight. Knowing it was going to be tracked I was not to terribly concerned about it being flawless but the body shop did a great job! We also replaced the right rear suspension. Upper and lower control arm and knuckle. Went with Tein Flex coilovers. CT Sway bars and that was all for now.
After suspension, frame and new pass side door we moved on to the interior.
Gutted it. Replaced ivory carpet with black and dyed the ivory on the doors and console. Also installed the new Oxygen audio iphone stereo and Alpine components.
Then FACTOR X sent me some presents!
The fitting / Install began.
^ Also big thanks to Jim Cozzolino for the hookup on his old CCW wheels!
Knowing this was going to be a track car I did not want to spend a ton of money on the paint. I wanted somethign quick and attention getting. I decided to vinyl wrap the car a Matte Orange color.. Still have to finish up on the mirrors etc but here is how it sits today!
Thanks for checking it out! Was a big undertaking for someone who does not like nor do big body repairs but It is a blast to drive!
Thanks
Brian
