Homemade Engine / Trans Removal Cradle

Given to me by fellow prime member who no longer has his car.



I'll post pics later of the assembly on this. He said it worked like a champ...

No wheels? What's the point? It's nice but doesn't make much sense to go to the trouble of making it and not having wheels.

It'll sit on my bike lift (wheelvice removed) and I'll raise the car off it.
The bike lift has wheels at one end, and a jacking plate at the other so I can put a floor jack under the end of the bike lift and move the assembly around.

nice one! like vince said add some wheels OR are you using a pallet jack?

That's an awesome garage! If it works well, you might take measurements and put a "how to" post together on how to recreate making one.
