Custom Plates

Was also considering "JDM 4RE"

I was actually considering FUR4RE but don't think it would quite pass muster with the NJ MVC..

..... I just ordered HAVNSX in NC. I've been on the fence about a custom plate and when I told my wife that one....... She twisted my arm and made me get it! 6-8 days. Just in time for my car to be back on the road after the winter upgrades!!!

I just tried MR WOLF but it's already taken. That plate better be on an NSX or that's just pure blasphemy!
Also NEMOHOS is not allowed....

I had GOT NSX for several years. I only gave it up for my current. I was flipping through one of my wifes Cosmo mags and saw a hottie with milk on her lip and it said "Got Milk" and thats when it hit me. They are currently avail. here in Texas.

I went with TRAKNSX on mine...got lucky it was available

MD MVA just called and denied my HAVNSX.

My fave of all time was not on an NSX, rather a 300GT VR4.......VR4GASM

I have a Type S NSX here in New Zealand - the plate on it will be (once it is made) NSX S.

Just put in for IHAVNSX. Not quite as funny, but we will see if it gets approved. Now I just sound grammatically incorrect.

My favorite was an old man (about 70) driving a Lincoln Town car. It said GDLKNMF. (GD LKN MF) Also in Mississippi on the way back from Vicksburg casino.

OK. Have to bring this one back up because I FINALLY got a plate approved. A little background on this..... I tried all these plates that all got shot down. After the first few I called the DOT to find out why. I was given the contact information for the deputy person who deals with the plates. I emailed her with no reply. So the next week I called and left a voice mail with no reply. A few more weeks went by with no response. At this point I was pissed at the lack of professionalism so I just started sending in a new plate request every time I got a rejection letter. After getting fed up I called back and said my name. The girl said OH your the one with the NSX. I said YES I AM! She said oh I just approved your plate and explained that she dated a guy who had one and she was the only one in the office that knew it was the model of my car and that I wasn't just being a perv. I guess on their paperwork they just see the make and if it is a coupe or sedan or whatever.

Finally after about 7 weeks I got a plate. It isn't my first choice, but I'll stick with it. Here is the list of everything I tried. Some of them blow my mind that they got rejected..... stupidity.

alec that seems like quite a bit of work just for 1fun nsx. I would have tried with her on the phone for the other

but then again no one ever sees my plate so i guess even having a personalized one is a waste for me

Yes I do almost feel like it was a waste of effort. I more or less just kept trying out of frustration. I guess there is still a little pun in there 1(FUN aNd SeX) Ill probably get another one next year just to do it.
