guess what I saw in LA

I saw a yellow one, a black one and something more exciting...

I even got a few photos...

I was sitting at the sidewalk cafe of the Beverly Wilshire hotel, enjoying a cigar, when the racer and the black one stopped just after the lights. The guy from the black one got out and chatted with the racer for a few minutes, then he got back into his car and they drove off at the same time.

Not wanting to lose my prime seating/viewing/smoking position, I did not rush across Wilshire to say hello. Was I right or was I wrong?

In any case, a few minutes afterwards, I heard a roaring/buzzing/snarling car from the right and sure enough it was the racer again on Wilshire, took a right onto Rodeo drive.

For me 'twas a memorable moment.

Pity I never got to ride in one while I was in LA. Maybe next time.
