Going to the dyno, Any advice??

A couple of thoughts. First, if they normally charge a fixed fee per pull, ask them if you can reserve a block of time instead. You will need several runs to tune the Haltec correctly and may even want to alternate with some street driving (to check drivability issues). Most shops will cut you a deal like this.

Second, use an experience person to tune the Haltec. It is a relatively simple system interms of programable engine management systems, but someone who has done it for a while is going to do a LOT better job than even the smartest tuner who hasn't.

My two cents.
