Just received and installed this system. All I can say is .... AWESOME :biggrin:. My mechanic said " High quality all the way around" and loved the sound. Swears he can tell a performance difference.
This is just the exhaust note I was looking for. Muted when at idle or crusing, but throaty and exelerating when hitting the gas - as it should be with the NSX.
Wil was excellent with communication throughout the process. All the bolts and necessary pieces were there for the installation. Top notch from start to finish. My otherwise stock 91 now has an entire new (and great) feeling. Check the soundclips earlier - awesome. Jay

996garage - Your writeup is "spot on". I felt like I was writing it myself (except I had a shop do the install :redface. I literally just came back from a quick spin, as I just wanted to hear that sweet sound from this system. I also had my son drive the NSX, and I followed him with the windows down, and it just sounds plain awesome :biggrin:. Slight drone at 2200 rpm, but it quickly disappears. All in all I could not be happier.
My NSX is also completely stock, with the exception now of this exhaust. Wil put together a really nice unit. Already itchin to get back out on the road...!

That's my car and yes those are original video clips. My setup includes comptech headers and Dali test pipes. Sounds even better in person.

One more thing I just love about his system is how it is quiet and civilized at idle and cruise, yet screams when you open it up - test pipes wake it up even more. This must be the most refined sounding system I have heard that features a straight through design, without any of the rasp or unwanted resonances of other systems

Just got my set installed yesterday and I'm going poor putting gas in this baby. I can't seem to stop driving it now. Truly, Wil has done a terrific job of hitting the perfect exhaust note. I bought my '95 new and have loved it of course, but always had a big disappointment with the sound. The only good sound came inside the car when the VTEC kicks in and rides to 8000 RPM. Even that had no sound outside the car. I occasionally cruise with guys that own Ferraris and Lambos. There sound just wiped me out. I always felt like I was driving a Honda Accord in comparison. I can tell you without a doubt, that will be no more! This exhaust will stand tall with all of them. What a terrific sound just driving normally. Obviously, at WOT it is great, but honestly the most pleasing sounds are just pulling away with mild acceleration. Down shifting is also very gratifying. All in all, this makes the car sound as good as it has always looked. As all you owners already know, the car is an awesome drive, but it takes on a whole new perspective when it sounds exotic too.
I listened to every video of exhausts on YouTube and this was the best in my opinion. I have only heard a few others in person, but the AP-X has them all beat. Long story short, you won't find a better sounding exhaust and most importantly, the best match for the car. Wil is great to work with and takes great pride in his product as he should. The workmanship is first class and a true work of art. Add me to the list of "couldn't be happier.":smile:
