Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

Cutting down trees, did 7 today and 4 left plus trimming and chipping. Looking for an excuse to take a break so keep me in the loop. Groundbreaking hopefuly within the next month.

Sorry to barge in guys, but I'm looking for someone with a 2000 or later NSX to do a quick OBD2 scan to see what parameters are available via the diagnostic port. PM me if interested in helping out.

Thanks!

Neal volunteered - Thanks Neal!

Brock it was nice to meet you, see your "stealth installation" on your clean TSX, and learn a little about your product. Mike the Manic Mechanic liked it, too.

Jorligan I chuckle when I think about a surgeon cutting trees + trimming and chopping   If you need a break today, let's do Baker's!

Beautiful day shaping up - let's hit Baker's.

Sorry we missed you. Got there shortly after the parade. There with my youngest in the NSX. Never made it to St Ignace because too much going on.

I was gone by then. I had to move quick if I was gonna pack both shows into one day.

Next year though I should be under such a time crunch.

Ladies and Gentlemen, forgive me for not posting this previously. The Ann Arbor, MI, Rolling Sculpture Car Show is this Friday 2-10 PM July 8th downtown A2. Details here:

Last year this show was impressive, included the new Merz-Benz SLS 6.3 coupe and the Porsche Boxster Spyder.

Some other sweet iron, too:

Not too late to register "at the door." May well be an NSX meet-up just NE of Ann Arbor around 2 PM Friday to detail the specimens and then roll in to park together. Anyone else?

Also on weekend agenda - Toledo Cars N Coffee Sunday morning 9a-11a, followed by Crazy Curtis Car Show in Livonia, MI, Sunday afternoon - telling you, it's the funkiest backyardigan car show in Detroit Suburbia all summer!

PM for any detail(s).

We'll be over with both cars to ride over as a group so we can all park together.
We've been wanting to see this show for a while now, so thanks for the invite!

Brian

Just saw another NSX on the road today. About 11:05 it was traveling southbound on Dixie Hwy just south of Andersonville Rd. Couldn't tell what year, but it was black, with tinted windows, sat real low, and had some new rims.

That's like 2 in a month, I'm not sure I still want one. They are getting too popular haha. Just kidding. It's still my dream, hopefully soon.

You would be cooler sitting on my black top driveway or working in the garage. No shade at bakers and 90 degree heat is a big no for me. Stay cool though.

A couple NSX's braved the heat to hit Baker's yesterday, there was a good turnout as usual.
The real fun was on Friday though, when four of us each entered a car in Ann Arbor's Rolling Sculpture show.
Although we were assigned to park a block or more off the main drag, quite a few people came by to check all the NSX's out. In fact, since the section of street we were parked on was still active, it caused more than a little consternation to the staff person in charge of the area because interested folks were impeding traffic a bit at times
Imagine our surprise when Csaba Csere and Tony Swan came by to check us out, and then the utter shock in hearing they picked our red car for the Editor's Choice award

Way to represent you guys! Wish I could have been there, instead I was out tapping the Rockies, which wasn't awful.
Got a chance to go see Dennis and Tim's garage yesterday. An insanely clean garage for two insanely clean cars. Very nice. I need to start work on my garage as my next home project here soon.

Quite the weekend -

I'm back in the saddle again. (assuming PPI passes)
Stay tuned.

Nick arises again, glad to see you back. Looking forward to seeing the new addition.

Jeff, saw you on Northwestern last night on my way home...was crusing right next to you....you were in the passenger seat. Looks like the guy getting to drive was enjoying it! Always fun seeing one out in the wild when you aren't expecting it.

Wanted to give props to Marc and Jacob from Autolavish for the best detail job I have ever seen on a car and another thank you to Steven Pham who took awesome pics of the car a few weeks back. Enjoy guys!
