What was the peak of activity of NSX Prime? Obviously the car is now extinct and volume is dropping off so there is likely a natural decline on the forum. I haven't been here that long but it seems like there is less posting than there was a few years ago.

You just missed it.

Probably when "The Easiest Way to Own an NSX" Thread was going viral.

prime is gonna pick up since alll the new nsx 2.0 hype:smile:

I've been on this site for pretty much 10 years and I can say (seriously) that its been about the same in terms of traffic and discussions.

I've seen faces come and go, but there's always the steady core group. There's a lot of ex-NSXers here, which should tell you a lot about the group as well.

If anything I've noticed that as the the car depreciates and the entry fee to the club as fallen, maturity has taken a bit of a hit but not significantly so, and the newbies keep us entertained.

says who?? and where did you get that info from.

new members everyday.

I think like other have said that since the dreaded NSX superbowl commercial everyone is gonna jump on the bandwagon

lets let the admin tell us new user per month

I am sure he would share this info

From the main forum page:

Most users ever online was 7,863, 01-02-2008 at 14:30

That was the viral beginning of NSX Nick, the pedophile poker player, and the emergence of the "Donkey Cart" page loading when the server couldn't handle the traffic......

The best of prime when I remember was a few years back when Cody was just getting started on marketing his kits. Downforce still had their website up. Stmpo was coming up with new products. Evo "erick" was still shipping parts and Tamoske showed lots of potential.

Yes, No question that was at it peak.

Going back to when I originally joined in 01 or so I would say the site is much more active now. I remember I would check this site daily looking for used parts for my original NSX and there would be weeks that no new parts were listed.

^^ the site is probably more active now because as the price of nsx gets cheaper and cheaper relatively, more "bottom feeders" owner like me could afford it. Since these "new" owners are still learning about nsx, more questions are asked and that makes prime more active. That is my guess.

I think "new" owners are going to cry when they find out how much oem parts cost =p.

The decline in post only occur during the winter months, once spring hits we back in full throttle

Opposite for me. When the weather gets good, I stop spending as much time online. In the winter, I get on Prime and reminisce about my NSX that is garaged away and regret how I haven't driven it enough.

How is the largemouth bass fishing on Conesus Lake?
I just mapquested it and it looks "PRIME" for all-summer fishing!

There's plenty of fish in this lake. And while I'm not a big fisherman, I've pulled out many a bass--small and large mouth. I can put a worm on, from my dock and catch something all day long--albeit mostly perch/bluegills/sunfish/bass. The lake is also known for walleye and northern pike. I need to step up my game this summer and go for them.
