Post a pic of your latest purchase

Bought some very expensive clips so I could put the OEM sides back on. Also wrapped the roof and mirrors.

Seeing as Mike jumped ship and picked up a Porsche, I was lucky enough to have scored his Momo Tuner steering wheel kit with NRG tilt hub and Sparco cruise control kit. I plan on doing a write up on this, but with my limited knowledge, figuring out the wiring was a chore to say the least. I managed to keep everything with no cutting or splicing into existing wiring. With the limited space in the hub tucking the wiring in was challenging to say the least.

Before I call it finished, I am going to wrap the leads running to the cruise control in black heat shrink to hide it and tuck it away.

Anyway, pictures!

It goes really well with the oem brushed gauge cluster IMO

I suppose if Hugh Grant can dream about this girl:

While being married to this girl:

Then an NSX owner can also dream about driving a 911.

No no, NSX owners dream about being in a 911 when they hit the gas, and then wait for a long time for something to happen!

People have fallen asleep waiting - thats when the dreaming starts!

here's butter after giving my car a spin around the neighborhood.... and mad props to owen for showing up to congratulate me in person after putting the kids to sleep... it was funny how cars in the neighborhood would turn around the corner and immediately just STOP to stare.

can't we all just get along??

when i was looking for an early 90s nsx, i never once considered the 911... but when tommy started telling me to go for an 02+ for better value... then i had to start considering the 911 too.

ultimately do what fits best for your dreams, budget, and TIME available to dedicate to a project car. for me, i was totally lying to myself re the amount of time i have for a a huge nsx project... it just made sense to buy something that didnt need much/if any work and just ENJOY.

Nice purchase. I'm totally on the fence between NSX and 911 as well.

edit: i really need to get that landscaping done

I just joke - I LOVE NSXs and thats why I still kick around here.

They're awesome. Miss many things about the gorgeous car I sold TypeJ but Im happy that he bought it as he is deserving of such a sweet car. Plus its far away so I never have to see it (in my rearview HA!).

I meant 911's are kind of common with my photo. LOL... Just giving you some shit. Yeah it's a nice car.

911's make great winter beaters.

^^and if you want to smoke NSXs all day long without wearing a set of rear tires out every full tank of gas!

J/K, with so much power on tap right now I have learned that theres more to life than performance, which is what Red has been telling me his wife has been telling him for years!
