First Picture Post - 95 Red

Thanks! The rims are OZ Superleggera. I'll post close-ups shortly. The name hoarycripple comes from the Robert Browning poem "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came." It starts off: "My first thought was he lied in every word, that hoary cripple, with malicious eye askance to watch the...

    Recent Nsx Compliments anyone?

Well, I didn't witness this one personally, but my brother told me about it: My brother and I were washing/detailing my car on my driveway, and I was bending down to clean the wheels while he was taking a break. One of the neighbors was walking his dog, and because he was staring so hard at...

    NEW PADS?

You can see the rotors glow from the heat in many races. Interesting is the fact that in Gran Turismo 3 you can see the brake rotors glow in some of the cars during the replays.

    Taitec rear diffuser

Excellent! I'll be ordering this part along with the center exit exhaust as soon as the weekend is over. Too bad about the 4-6 week wait though

    Taitec rear diffuser

Anyone have experience with the taitec rear diffuser and center exit exhaust? What kind of aerodynamic difference does it make? Thanks for any info.

    Start your Engine

Winreboot, I hope you didn't take your nsx out in the 20+ inches of snow that we just got! I can't wait for the spring...man I need to drive. I like the location of the start engine button. Looks like it fits really well. How'd you set it up? Did you install the wiring yourself? btw...

    My new toy

lol, I have a set of trimmed body posts, but the RSX body (my regular runner) is too high to fit on those. Also, the high body posts are good for protecting the body in case of a rollover, which can, and did (repeatedly) happen.

    Customized license plate

I've always wanted: HIT MAN But I don't think that would go over well.

    My new toy

Finally got the nsx body painted for my 1/10 scale car. I'm still debating whether or not to run this body. The last one (an rsx - my beater body) was completely demolished in high speed collisions with my friend's M3. Anyway... here's the link: http://hoary.crippl3.net:26/IMG_0120_1.JPG...

    Castrol Mugen NSX

Yes, it's a Tamiya TL-01. I just finished putting together the chassis, and it was quite easy. I actually finished it in about 4 hours or so. The body on the other hand is going to take a while. I haven't airbrushed since I was 15 or so and I think it's going to take a while to get it right...

    Castrol Mugen NSX

Just bought a 1/10 scale R/C Castrol Mugen NSX, I'm putting together the chassis now, and will post pictures of the finished car in the picture gallery if anyone's interested. btw, I don't feel like painting it in the castrol mugen nsx colors (green, black, orange). I was thinking red for the...
