Agreed. When master relays fail, they usually work when you let them settle a minute, or you can bang on them. (I've had two failures...)
Anyway, reflowing the joints is easy and not intrusive.
Sorry, but I'd rather keep things as original as possible. Honda builders do a better job than I can ever do. Follow the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
Anyway, most main relay problems are due to cracked solder joints. If you're handy with a soldering iron, re-flowing...
Great pics. Thanks for sharing!
Can't believe I missed this earlier. Maybe others will appreciate the bump.
Good to see that Japan hasn't changed much.
Sorry to hear that. NSXPrime has been killing my machine lately.
If paying Prime won't help, buying more hardware will!!!
:biggrin::rolleyes::redface::frown::mad::confused:
Great video. Love the blue color, but not all the black plastic and big rear wing.
Sounds like two test drives are in order! The type R and the step down sport model.:wink:
A friend loves hers!

Thanks, Guys. That's several new tires for me to consider...
Will post back with my decision & impressions. Although it may take a while to consider the options!
Well, the NSX needs a new set of shoes and tire selections for stock rims is very limited since this thread was started. So, can anyone help recommend some new tires?
The car's not tracked and rarely sees rain (maybe once a year) or cold weather. No snow of course. I don't drive the car...
tire problem?
Hmm, sounds like a possible tire issue since the problem went away after driving for a while. Old tires that had been sitting for a while would develop flat spots where they'd been supporting the weight of the car.
I went through a similar issue. My rotors & pads were fine...
In my experience, these cars are very reliable and have few issues, but parts can be expensive. They sold for $60-90K after all. Buying a fixer-upper can be very expensive to make things right. It takes time to find a good one.
Make sure the timing belt is OK. It should be changed every 7-9...
Hmm, maybe it's the CD changer cable, which I think has a DIN-type connector (round, with several pins inside.) Post a pic if you want a better answer...
