I'm pretty sure that the valve covers were checked -- this is one possibility that my mechanic mentioned. I'll check with my mechanic to see if he checked for the PCV valve, though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Here is my personal perspective on this topic. Let me preface my response by saying that I'm NOT obsessive-compulsive about getting the best shine possible on a car. Rather, my goal is to protect the NSX's paint from sun and grit as well as possible without spending days getting it that way...

I'd love to do this again sometime in mid-June or July. I have a friend with an S2000 who'd like to drive as well, plus another who would accompany me in my NSX. If the time works for me, I'll be there.

You should contact Zaino directly with this question. I've e-mailed Sal Zaino once or twice and ALWAYS gotten a response from them. They seem to be great guys and are really knowledgeable about their products, and very helpful. For problems like this, go directly to the source!
