Only weighing about 7 pounds, you can shed about 30 pounds off of your NSX. I bought this for my 2000 NSX, which I sold a few months ago and put the stock battery back in for the sale.

So, you mean the RPMs climb slightly when you press in the clutch to shift, rather than dropping RPMs like it should when you press the clutch and lift on the throttle?

I was thinking the same thing. Last year my GF parked my jeep near one, and wouldn't ya know a cart hit it and made a HUGE dent in the fender. Luckily a dent wizard worked his magic.
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but is it possible to disable the radio? I never ever listen to it anyways, so if I could remove a fuse to reduce the battery drain, I would. Ditto for the alarm. I never lock the doors anyways. Is there a way to turn it off? And the clock, I never look at...
I sent Summit some pics and they agreed that it's defective. They're sending me another pair. The customer service rep said that they would inspect them before shipping, just in case a whole batch is bad.

I just purchased a set of Hawk pads for the front of my 2000 NSX. The way that the manufacturer attaches the wear indicator interferes with the caliper. See pics. Old pad is on the left. The only way I can run these pads is to snap off the wear indicators. Does anybody have a work-around...
Between the battery swap and spare tire removal, I dropped 60 pounds off the front. Woohoo! The battery looks so much better than the old lead/acid battery. Now I want him to fab one for my 87 Buick Grand National.
I sold it a few years ago. Then I bought a 97 supercharged Vette with 600RWHP, sold that one and bought a 70 Nova with 1000HP. Sold it and bought the NSX. Me thinks I'll keep this one for a while. ;)
