    Post your 1/4 mile times.

That run was with the stock motor. Since then, the head gasket did finally give out and we rebuilt the motor with aftermarket parts. When we took the motor apart, it was in surprisingly good condition. I got married a while back and have not had the car out to the track in a long time (never...

Yes, That was with the stock motor with a lot of miles. We put that motor through heck. Honda Rocks!!!

    I'll get back on that.

    Boost options currently available

Buy the HP kit and get someone local to install it. It's really not too bad of an install. If you sent the car to NM to get installed/tuned, you would probably want to have the tune checked out when you got home anyway. The kit is only $8495...

    New times with HP kit

You are correct. I have been told that the car looks like it is a little lower in the front than stock. The parts appear stock. The car does have over 130K on it though, so maybe it sags a little. Of course when I put 18/19s on it it looks lower than the stock wheels. Craig

    New times with HP kit

HP is directly related to the amount of air you can get into the motor. I think we are about to the limits of the 67mm turbo. We have been pushing the stock motor with my car, just to see what it will handle. So far there have been no problems, but with a poor tune you won't make it past...

What type of Turbo should I get for a 2003 Acura NSX-T

Here is HP's direct website. www.hpperformance.com You can see my car on the front page. I ran the GT35R before upgrading. It is a great turbo. I've got to run for now, but I'll give you more feedback later. Craig

Alright, here is the best I can do for now. This video was taken with a still camera. No zoom, just video. Someone should be getting me a video from a real video camera. I'll post it when I get it. Craig <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie"...

It's just the regular kit with a 67mm ball bearing turbo upgrade. I don't know what stage it would be considered. Craig

    New times with HP kit

I went to the track this weekend and got some new times with the HP kit. My best ET was 10.39 and my best trap speed was 140.6 mph. Here are the slips. Craig

That sucks. It seems funny that he would blow the head gasket at that low of pressure. Craig

I run it at 8.5 psi normally. The kit has been on the car around 5,500 miles. Craig

We don't have c16 fuel here, but we use 113 octane at the track. The ignition timing is 18.5 degrees at its max. Much more conservative than the factory timing. Craig

Actually, it didn't appear to change the spoolup at all when the graphs were overlayed. Very surprising.

Here is a dyno at 14.4 psi. I don't know why it shows 14.6 max. It must be some kind of boost spike that isn't shown on the curve. When you scroll the mouse across it only goes to 14.4 at the top. Here is the 605 pull with the boost curve. Once again. The max boost is shown a little...

The boost level does increase throughout the rpms. This was done intentionally using the aem to control the boost. The boost level at the maximum HP is the level that we are referring to. It is safer to run higher boost at higher rpm. We do not want a flat boost curve. Craig

They are ET streets which is a street legal drag tire. I think they are 26.5x10.5 on the factory 16 inch wheels. Craig

    10.48 @ 139 mph HP Performance car

I think that a nine second pass with the stock motor may be a little optimistic. Then again nobody thought I could run tens with a stock motor either. I don't think the dyno number are optimistic. If you plug my 1/4 mile times into one of the 1/4 mile/ horsepower estimators, you will find...

I don't understand why my car makes so much power either, but I've seen it on the dyno and at the track. You can't argue with the facts. Craig

Daily driving is around 8.5 psi. As far as the stock clutch goes, mine seemed to do amazingly well. It was holding 450 rwhp. It didn't start slipping until we started pushing close to 500. I think I only ran it like that for about a month, so I don't know how long it would have held the...
