The Recaro logo on my red Pole Positions is embroidered; so I don't think there is any way to get if off. Also the embroidering is kind of sunken in to the material. I haven't seen any painted versions btw. Imo the logo doesn't look that bad. My car is red with white NA1 R wheels and other JDM...

At 2750 your pretty light! You can probably pull off another 100-200 pounds by pulling off some of the small things around the car and/or by swapping out some of the heavier parts. I'm assuming you've already done some of that but if you haven't done it already the following items weigh a lot...
