I was looking for a Acura tech recommendation RE electrical diagnosis/repair. I am NV...so looking for a contact in the area of: CA (N and S), Oregon, Las Vegas. Need a second opinion, problem not getting fixed by local options where I live. Recs and contact info much appreciated.

OK, so I think I figured out how to measure the mAMP draw on car which was 27 mAMPS. I think from my reading this is within normal range. Prior measurements on a 7 day period sans starting the car, my battery went from 12.60 volts to 12.26 volts. I have had the car go dead with some varying...

I am having similiar problems of the car going dead sans battery tender after about 6-7 days. I do have an voltmeter, but have not used it a lot. Anyone want to outline what I need to do with the meter to help diagnose the problem? :smile:

The problem :frown:.....when the car sits without driving for 7-8 days, the battery goes dead. :eek: I tried to be the extra careful owner for my 2005 and had an aftermarket alarm (Viper) put in it shortly after I bought the car. The above problem seemed to have started after the above alarm...

Looks nice, but I know nothing about the car. I would suggest you put a post in Southwestern US region and see if a local NSXprime member would check it out for you. When I was in the market I was helped out in a similar way and it was VERY helpful. and/or... Having the local Acura dealer...

RE 97 MCBP in Reno with 39K miles... I did finally go check the car out. The car seems for a 97 to be in very good condition. The paint I would rate 9/10 for a 10 yr old car. Had to look hard to find even some small rock marks on the front of the car. The rims are pristine without any road...

I have seen these same black NSX pictures MULTIPLE of times in adds, ALL of them scams. Seen the same car posted for sale in Louisiana, California, ect.... There is also a blue 2005 NSX pictured next to a beach with palm trees that comes up on multiple scam adds :frown:

Nope, Ones I got from NAPA, perfect match (at least) from what i can tell. Broke a few putting on the Speedlingerie Bra :mad: ...and needed to replace the stock ones.

I may not be understanding the damage done to the car. From your description you describe missing the black push clips that connect the wheel well black liner to the front quarter panel?.........if this is the case I got extra ones from a local Napa car parts store (generic Acura push clips).
