Since I decided to stop tracking the car, I removed my LoveFab turbo and now contemplate selling the complete kit including the AEM EMU
I've done approximately 20 thousand kilometers with it mainly driving back and forth to track days.
Idealy it should be picked-up locally but I could package it...
For many years, I used a BBK from Movi't in Germany consisting of 322x32 rotors and Brembo calipers as used on the Porsche 993 Turbo.
The setup worked very well with a home made kit with 4 piston AP Racing calipers in the rear.
Beeing a perfectionist...I bought a Brembo rear BBK with 330x28...
I never thought I would go back to NA after all these years with my LoveFab turbocharged NSX.
The main use of the car was to attend Track Day meetings in France, Belgium and Germany with the Swiss NSX sport cars club.
These were really great days with a friendly atmosphere largely brought by the...
My wife had a mini Cooper S a couple of years ago and when the power assisted steering let go, I noticed that it was a hydraulic assisted rack with an attached electric motor providing the high pressure fluid.
It looked quite compact and I was wondering if it would fit the NSX?
The steering feel...
After many years of racing with my home designed rear BBK based on modified AP Racing CP 7611 calipers, I decided to buy the Brembo rear BBK.
The decision was based on safety and performance first and looks second.
Safety because my design used the OEM NA2 303*23 disks that had a very hard time...
I replaced my aging Pirelli P Zero Corsa's fron tires with a set of Michelin's PS4's.
The Pirellis came in 205/45*17 while the Michelin are the better 215/40*17 to match the rear 265/35*18 size.
I haven't done many miles so far but the difference in comfort is amazing?
My car has KW V3 Clubsport...
I've had recurring problems with my left window regulator assy.
After fitting Hugo's kit the problem became worse when lowering the window below half way.
In fact, I must have made a mistake as the cable got squeezed and will no longer fully rests inside the plastic grooves...
Of course, one...
I'd like to find a way to delete the turbo on my LoveFab setup and replace it by a catalytic converter.
Has anyone done this sofar and be willing to share the design?
The idea beeing that it would make it easy to switch from FI to NA and vice versa.
I thought I had solved this issue on my LoveFab turboed car but during a track meeting last sunday the problem reappeared.
My solution involved routing the rear valve cover hose to a catch can (vented to air) routed on the right side of the car.
The front valve cover has a hose coming out of the...
A couple of years ago, I installed a Comptech front camber bushing kit and I'm wondering if I need to check the bumpsteer?
In fact, I only installed the top bushing kit as it also helps pull the top of the tires inside the fenders with the low wheel offsets I'm using.
This setting provides 2°30'...
I'm contemplating using a front Stoptech BBK on the rear of my NSX.
The reason beeing that it would give me a good F/R bias with my front Porsche 993 turbo calipers.
While I know that the center hole is a different size, I don't know if the disks have the same offset?
BTW there are no kits...
I recently watched a video of a 981 GTS at the Paul Ricard track in the south of France and was amazed by the ease of controlling the car.

It just confirms the feedback I got from many Cayman drivers that state that you can easily catch a spin before...
The Mac Laren 600 LT could have been developped by Honda...
Here's a video that shows it's capability around the Nurburgring:

For many years, I've been running drilled Movit (from germany) front brakes.
These brakes use Porsche 993 turbo components i.e, 322x32 rotors and massive calipers with Pagid RS 29 (yellow) pads.
The result is very good when balanced with the appropriate rear calipers ( AP racing CP 7600) and...
I did a compression test on my LoveFab turboed NSX today.
The idea was triggered after reading Honcho's thread "Long road to Imola"( http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/207052-Honcho-s-Long-Road-to-Imola-Type-S-Zero/page12) as I couldn't quite believe the results with an average of...
Given that my NSX overheats on warm track days, I decided to install an oil cooler.
I had postponed this decision for a long time as I'm not a fan of changing the oil feed system to the engine.
Instead of spending many hours trying to decide who to engineer the system, I went for the ATR oil...
Following my latest Le Mans outing, I had the cooling system drained and refilled following the Honda service manual.
I'm sad to report that once again the temperature went out of control during a local track day meeting.
This time it did not reach the boiling point as I nursed the car around...
Last week end, I took the car to Le Mans here in France for a "Classic Day" meeting.
Cars ranged from prewar Bugatti's to Porsche 917's!
They put me in the "GT & Young" category with a wide mixture of vehicles as you will see in the video to come.
It was good fun until my water temperature went...
After many modifications to my NSX, I finally decided to upgrade the rear suspension with non-compliance stuff from Ti Dave.
To be honest, I was a little doubfull that it would improve the roadholding but given that the car would sometimes go in an almost uncontrollable oversteer I decided to...
After fitting a 205/45 R17 with no rubbing issue on my NSX, I wondered if a 215/45 R17 would also fit?
This would allow the use of Michelin's Pilot Sport Cup 2's, a must to keep up with the Porsches on track!
In my current configuration the answer is NO.
In fact the back of the outer side of the...
Apparently Michelin has now added the following dimensions to their range:
215/35 R18 and 265/30 R19 that should be the same outer size as the popular 215/40 R17 and 265/35 R18.
Of course, you need new wheels...

On my latest track day, a 997 GT3 3.8 L that was following me took a video that worries me a little.
One can see some fumes coming out of the exhaust especially at the exit of the hairpin when I'm in second gear at 2'02"
Should I be concerned...
I brought my car in this morning to fit the Cedar Ridge non-compliance rear beam bearings and toe links I ordered recently.
This off course requires realigning the suspension and the question came up with respect to the toe setting for the front?
The owner of the specialized shop who...
