ABS fluid leak onto garage floor

Thank you for the responses. Asylum: The high pressure hose, the accumulator and the pump all seem intact and dry. I can only assume that the puddle was caused by overflow from the ABS reservoir as the plastic warning label was also "wet" with fluid. So to test your theory about "tightness"...

ABS fluid leak onto garage floor

1994 NSX Noticed that car would run the ABS pump during every drive ~once a week driven car. It would run for about 10-15sec, then all is well. ABS not used much routinely. Parked car in garage, noticed an ABS fluid puddle on garage floor after a few days. Fluid is above max in the ABS...

when I first started this thread, it was 3 days before the incept date of Leon Kowalski's: April 10, 2017 (its in the movie). Happy Birthday Leon, and watch out for the bladerunners!

    Bladerunner time is approaching 2019.

We've got 2 years to: build flying cars; build colonies in space; make genetic slaves that live for 4 years; and build a giant pyramid in the middle of Los Angeles......

STOLEN in Los Angeles area: 1996 White NSX-T JH4NA1187TT000401

Mechanic ID part inscribed on metal parts? This is interesting, never heard anyone do this before, but hopefully it will pay off if the car is parted out, which is highly likely... Good luck

BBVNSX 93 EDM NSX - From Portugal!

I have a similar set up, if you place your finger at just the right spot, you could balance this whole thing on one finger; I've done it, very light..... good choice.

Heat Control Valve/Rod- How Hard to Access?

It may also be a CCU control issue. The operation of the valve is determined by proper operation of the CCU. Even the door flaps are ultimately controlled by the CCU. Has you CCU been repaired by Brian or other sources? Turn to full heat and record the cables position; and turn to full cold and...

    Help purchasing engine mounts

I'm not sure why they said the passenger side engine mount is not available, mine is on its way.... Its coming from Japan, but oh well. Replaced all of mine from Acura, for me it was cheaper than SOS by far. RYU - my rubber was cracking for the passenger mount, I figure after 23 yrs, lets...

Cams are one thing, don't forget to take some pictures on how you manage to slide out the rocker shafts insitu. Thanks!

    VIS Hood with terrible fitment

I agree with this. Hand assembled cars are unique fit and all are imperceptibly slightly different, I bet if you ordered an OEM hood, you would still have some fitment issues to tweak.

    Center console restoration

looks much better. You've installed the shift boot wrong (unless you like it that way). The shift boot should tuck over the bottom lip of the knob.

    MexiRicer's 97 MCB

Glad you did away with the nauseating carbon fibre stuff, even the shifter boot is now at the right OEM/Zanardi height... much more pleasing to the eye.

    Brand new rear bearing play

.......proper wording is everything. These 2 "parts" are usually purchased together already as part of the "Bearing Assy., RR." - 42300-SL0-008. When you say "hub", you should be referencing the "Hub Assy., RR." - 42600-SL0-010. Did you remove the race that sometimes gets left behind after...

Valve adjustment not needed, LMA's sticking...

Although technically possible (Britlude did it) to replace these with engine in bay, you will want to do this as a 'sub-frame out' procedure to preserve your sanity. after you lift off the camshafts, you will need to slide out the rocker shafts. You can use one of your side engine mount bolts...

    NSX owner Toronto/Scarborough Area

what does this mean? What fuse behind the ignition switch? What fuse # was this? Do you mean the fuse panel by the driver's feet? Did they just push it in deeper to make a good connection etc etc.... Details would be helpful for future troubleshooting thanks.

Door Check Bushing NLA - Alternative Solution

I'm curious, how is the pin removed. Do you just gently hammer upwards until it comes out? ie., pressure fit? Also, will the silver swing arm move out of the way enough to introduce the new bushing? Thanks..

    ABS/ALB modulator rebuild write up

As Warren suggested, the 94-up modulators aren't prone to the same issue. If you don't drive your car for a few days (how many days do you mean?) and it only cycles for 5-10seconds once at the beginning of your drive, that sounds like a normal operation to me. It is just building pressure in the...

    NSX Secrets?

Are you bumping for information on the initialization process.... if so, basically the dual clutch set up for the earlier model years had an intermediate plate separating the 2 clutch discs. You need to "bump" the intermediate plate (no pun intended) after the first installation of the clutch...
