Nice work! I'm also in OK. I've been contemplating this swap for some time now although I'll probably try to keep the NSX transmission and run an adapter plate. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Actually we might have met at Hallett before.
That's my NSX. You might also note it's about 300 lbs lighter than stock there. I love this setup but I wish I could drop it about another 1/2 -1 inch.
So is the LS4. I did some research into this. It would be a tight fit but I think it's doable. If I ever blow the NSX engine I'll probably give it a shot.
I have someone interested in my Bilsteins for sale, but he's worried that there are no perches included. I used the perches off of the Bilsteins when I put my Konis on. I was under the impression that both Konis and Bilsteins relied on the stock spring perches from OEM shocks. Is this correct?
Not really sure why I chose drivers side. Probably from looking at the Tiatec and just old preferences from owning so many CRXs with the exhaust exiting on the drivers side.
Well I have the 6lbs Braille in the NSX now. We'll see how it does over the next few days.
I am in no way associated with Big Crank. Run whatever battery you want. I was just trying to save people a few dollars.
I've tried a couple of PC680s in my CRXs before. They were usually fine till I...
You think Braille makes their batteries? They are the same batteries Braille just slaps their stickers on and raises the price. Braille also only has a one year warranty.
Old thread but thought I would throw this out there.
Check out the Big Crank batteries here: http://www.batterymart.com/c-MC-Battery-Types.html
Same as a Braille but about half the price.
Also Braille now carries the 3lbs lithium batteries. Fro $950...
Awesome update! I've been waiting to see this since you posted the teaser pics in the weight reduction thread. Can't wait to see it running. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! The access holes came about after covering my hand in wd40 and trying to squeeze it into the tube while holding a nut then getting getting it on the bolt. I realized that was futile pretty quick.
STMPO is a good company. One of the few we have supporting the NSX. I have no interest in cutting in on their profits. For the amount of time that is required to build one it's hardly worth it to start trying to make them for profit. Now with a jig setup yes you can probably start actually...
Steering wheel and bag are right at about 10 lbs. I haven't weighted the wiring, computer and sensors by themselves. It all goes in a box with other crap I've removed and I weight the entire box. I'll weight individual components tomorrow if I have time.
