I’m not the OP but having driven the NSX quite a bit I can comment that the blind spots are big when changing lanes. You need to lean forward and then look to see if anyone is next to you. Unfortunately there are no blind spot monitors either.
The whole engine needs to come out to adjust the valves ? Just curious how often would they need adjusting, also do you by any chance have a link discussing this, I’d like to read it,TIA.
When I checked prices on the 911 I was looking at the 92 models only because I know my father had paid back in 92 his NSX in the $60k range, his msrp was around $66k. I am really surprised the 95 jumped up in price so much.
I guess when comparing the NSX to the 911 we would need to determine...
You bring up a very interesting point that has been on my mind since they gave us an idea of the price range being around $155k to $170k (someone please tell me if I am wrong but this what I remember). Being you had your NSX for 20 years you probably remember that the NSX price back then was...
Someone had asked if there were any big imperfections on the console cover on it so I just looked it over more closely and I see what I guess you can call a ding or peal in it ... not sure how else to describe it ...
I am posting 2 pictures of it one by itself and one with a pen pointing at it...
Hello ... I am selling the following 2 items from my 1995 NSX that I no longer own (I have another ad for a shift knob and shift boot/plate if you're interested). My car had 49k miles before I replaced these parts so please know when purchasing that these are not new parts. They are the...
This is the original 5 speed shift knob & Shift boot/Plate (I am referring to the base of the shift boot in the picture) from my 1995 NSX which had 49k miles when I removed it ... I no longer have my NSX and I am placing it for sale here.
They are original and the condition is as seen in the...
The other day I went back to my dealer and my service advisor who is a very nice guy was kind enough to show me the attached diagrams of how a clutch works (though my model has 2 discs not 1 like the diagram shows) I thought I’d share this with anyone who might be interested because I know...
I find that the NSX clutch has some chatter/shudder when releasing on the slower side but when driving for a day or two in a row I realize how this clutch likes to be released( kinda quickly) and those days the chatter is pretty minimal to none.
What gets me off tune with my NSX is that my...
Did you ever go to a doctors office and they start explaining a procedure and you understand about 30% of what they said, so you go on the internet to learn more. This is what happened in this case.
The dealer said something about hot spots and how they are only on one part of the flywheel...
Hi Larry, maybe I am describing it incorrectly ... maybe I should have said clutch chatter ... I know you are the expert and I respect your opinion tremendously, I did a lot of research on this and I had seen a thread you posted in and you had said it is quite common what I am feeling
Your...
I'm no expert but I can tell you the dealer had told me when they did the installation the first clutch they put in had a lot of shudder ... They then had new parts overnighted and did the job again.
As far as the installer he was an NSX tech and he knew the car backwards and forwards ...
Thanks for the response ... as far as doing it myself ... I am good at taking care of the exterior of a car and can do minor things like change out some interior trim but I wouldn't feel comfortable attempting to change a clutch, anyway the dealer ended up replacing the clutch under warranty as...
Hello everyone ... I need some advice ... I replaced the entire clutch in my 95 NSX at my local Acura dealer last September (they have an amazing NSX tech). It felt great when they replaced it but I noticed some clutch shudder so I decided to give it some time since I read it might need time to...
For anyone who needs answers I figured out the deal with the black lettering, it ends up I finally took the center cap out of the packaging knowing I don't need to return it and the black letters are some type of metal that come right off ... Except for the letter 'U', for some reason Acura...
Thank you to everyone who responded, I really appreciate your help. My guess is like a poster mentioned above the black lettering must have worn away on my existing ones.
Thanks again !!
Hello everyone I tried to search this question but I couldn't find the answer, maybe someone can help me out.
I have a 95 NSX with the Solaris Silver wheels. I wanted to replace the center wheel cap so I ordered a new one and the new one I received had the word 'Acura' in the center in black...
