I went to this show a few years ago - huge - lot's of oldies kept in garages. Good chance I'll go Sunday.

When I went with nsx, they directed me to the center ring of the entire show - which was pretty nice.
I'm sure we've all had our share of pandemic projects - this one took me about 10 weeks -
It was like solving a puzzle because I started with the wood and had to work backwards.
Here's my Pandemic Air Filter for my office - we are pretty much back at work - I asked for the
office complex to...

I'll be at the NASANE races this weekend pitting for our very own Carla in her Spec Miata.
Friday is practice only [plus HPDE on both days]. On Saturday there are 4 races in the afternoon.
2 races are low horsepower [ Lighting ] - like a miata and a stock nsx -
2 races are high...
I bought this harness bar in the Spring for my 2016 Subaru WRX. It's supposed to be the best made. Never installed. I did not want to commit to what is necessary to also have car as DD and carry passengers. Paid 500 - For sale at 400, I'll pay shipping - USA only. To see the bar on their page...
By chance I came across this documentary [available on netflix and amazon] and it's amazing, especially if you are a track student/driver or interested in competitive motor sports.
Turns out Jackie Stewart and Roman Polanski were good friends in the 60's. Roman asked Jackie if it would be ok if...
All: Hugo will be in Long Island installing his famous fix for windows on Saturday July 11. That group is full [possibly one spot left] and he has agreed to come to my place the next day, July 12th, if I can form a group of perhaps 5 total. I live in Harrington Park, which is about 3 miles from...
I have experimented every way I could think of to make cleaning rims easier - especially to clean off caustic brake dust [some non-oem pads] after every drive. I have tried paint spray guns, sealants, gas pressure washers etc; but I think I have a winner here. It is light weight - just the...
I've heard great instructive one liners - or words or wisdom from instructors and others at the track. I'd like to hear the best ones you've heard or told to others.
Lime Rock has a famous corner called "Big Bend". It was raining and cold. I went off; first lap, second session, of course. No...
These tires are on "Closeout" at Tire Rack.
They said that they are being replaced this Fall by the Dunlap Direzza Star Spec II.
They anticipated this and "...have good inventory for everyone to complete the season..."
I spoke to Lance - he is at extension 4176.
Lesson Finally Learned At Track
This past weekend I attended a two day event. That makes 15 track days and I learned a huge lesson at a relatively low dollar cost [ "relatively" being the operative word]. I write this post for newcomers to the sport and those in their first few years of...
Friends just called me and said they saw what seemed to be almost an unsupervised track [at least that's what they said], as they drove by. In AZ. "south of the casino", near The 10 and 202. Queens Creek?
Any word on what it is?
All:
I signed up for HPDE on the 14th [ I believe they are running this weekend, 7th and 8th, too ].
I ran this day last year and it was great, not too crowded at all.
So far, most are signed up for "progressive" and "paced" laps.
The day is put on by NJMP themselves.
Here's how the conversation went:
Passline: Hey how are you?
Me: Great to see you, nice car. Let's plasti-dip the sh*t out of it.
Passline: I don't know, I kinda like the stock look
Passline: That stuff really comes off?
He insisted I drive it - great SC sound and pull - super clean car
Intermediate group- Dunlap Direzza II
Not my smoothest laps but who wants to see those? Still need to work on "Oak Tree"

Am replacing clutch slave [ Wagner, got it from Rock]- when I put it in and started bleeding, the rod that should touch throw out yoke went off center, came too far out and the piston wedged [ needed pliers to move it]. I took it apart, hoped that the piston seals and walls were not...

I had a nasty sound that I could not identify. I searched Prime for an answer and asked around. I finally figured it out and thought my six month odyssey might save someone the time it took me.
The Sound:
The mystery sound was barely audible from cabin, except when going through an underpass...
My buddy has a flat bed programmable cutter. He does high end custom advertising jobs - displays - and car wraps.
I am thinking windshield tear-offs for track days. Or just an almost optically clear covering [ which he stocks in 48" rolls ].
With a CAD drawing, he can have the machine cut it...
I saw this article [ link at bottom ], I'd like to learn about this -
possible class at the Denver Expo?
Going Faster For Free
How Real Racers Align A Car
There’s one major difference between tuner cars and true race cars; what makes them faster on track is the setup and testing...
Just wanted you all to know that I reprensented our clan well yesterday driving HPDE ONE on the Lightning Track. We drove until 4 when the track was closed due to water and dirt running across it. Lot's of cars went off. I held up well until the last session when the Subaru's started taking the...
Hi, I use more than one computer and don't remember my password.
