Aha. Not sure if we ever had Zanardis over here in England, so I was guessing. But your car's red looks a deeper shade than regular Formula Red (perhaps a trick of the light?). Whatever it is, it's gorgeous. :)

Nice story. I guess the ex-F1 driver was test driver Fairuz Fauzy? I can certainly beieve that a proper racer knows how to maintain momentum and a better car in the hands of an ordinary road driver would never keep up. But I also don't believe 370bhp. Or we'd all have it. :)

:) Thanks chaps. I can keep the guitar in the passenger seat for the drive and then let it sit in the boot while it's parked. This particular guitar has penty of lacquer cracks anyway - a few new ones wouldn't hurt. Just found the boot dimensions on another thread here, and it looks like...

Just wondering if there are any guitarists out there? If so, do you know if a LP Standard guitar case will fit in the boot (trunk!) of the NSX? Need to go and collect a guitar tomorrow and I need it to be out of sight while the car's parked up. From memory, I think it should, but it'd be nice...

I think if he wants a unique/novelty NSX, then only the Type R could make long-term sense to take back to the USA. BUT!!!!! If the new NSX is significantly faster and handles better than the old NSX-R, all bets are off. (IMHO)

Which is exactly why I decided not to import a LHD NSX from Europe/USA into England (where there are very few NSXs up for sale at any one time). The NSX sits lower than 99% of other traffic + so many cars having rear window tints now = very difficult to get a decent view ahead for overtaking...

I looked at Japanese prices (=high) and I looked at USA prices (=lower), and I can't imagine that importing one into the USA from Japan could ever work out cheaper than buying a comparable LHD car in the USA. Abenomics hasn't yet changed the exchange rate to reverse this, surely? Is there some...
