thinking of buying 99 911, opinions from previous/current owners only please :)

I never had a real problem with my 2001. The IMS is a big deal and also keeping behind the radiators clean, can cause overheating. As also mentioned make sure the drain lines are all unclogged or you will have a wet floor. The best thing I did was spend like 160 bucks on ebay straight pipes...

    Check timing and setting timing.

I have done that and will be replacing the coils as they look like they have some corrosion. Just wondering for general information as well.

    Check timing and setting timing.

Is the timing set through the computer being that is cool pack design? I've never really thought to much on this until I've developed a misfire, and may need to check it with the other common misfire developments. Thanks

    Import Questions

correct they have just now been legal to import. I believe the market would do very well around the 30k price point. Most of the RHD jdm cars sell pretty quickly once the ground work has been done to get the car legally registered. There are no problems on importing or registering a car once...

    Dupont Registery magazine listing

Yes I am speaking mostly of the Japanese market but used import to refer more into the realm of the E30 M3, Mercedes 190 etc.....cars that were never thought to be collected or valued as were the 930 turbos, Ferraris etc... Cars that fit more of the mold in BTCC race bred street cars.

    Dupont Registery magazine listing

I feel the import collector car market will probably take the place of pony/muscle car collector market here in the next few years. I think we may be surprised to see what the prices of these and other cars will fetch price wise, as my generation gets into their wealthier years and have...

    Looking at a '91 Formula Red/Ivory - advise?

id be weary of that one, just being from a dealer for one, and the fact they strategically took interior pictures to miss some of the problem areas. Seat bolsters, center console cracks etc...you can see some of the bubbling on the door sill, that I messaged you about. good luck! tof no big...

I have seen many people using this center console and the fitment looks very good. I have searched around and cant find a price or where to purchase the center console. I know SOS is an option but curious as to why so many people seem to chose this model over the SOS variant. A link or...

    Suggestions on suspension and wheels

If it were me I would do the suspension first, since you have at least the newer style wheels. See how it looks, may seem like a whole new car with just the suspension lowering the ride height while essentially keeping it looking like a nice unmolested nsx. If you are set on purchasing wheels...
