Son of a B, this sounds like an awesome event shaping up, and I just sent out my gauge cluster after a failed white face gauge install. Hope to have it back in time.
How ostracized would I be if I HAD to bring a Porsche? Mind you it has 450 rwhp. :biggrin:
What are the available options for a front lip spoiler/splitter??
The PO of my car removed mine due to a steep driveway so I'm lip-less at the moment.
Photos of your favorite would help. :smile:

Having missed the NSX Stock event today, got me wondering if there will be any other central Pa events planned for this year. Didn't see any on the calender above.
I've never done anything NSX related and would like to meet some locals. Worst case scenerio maybe I can organize a BBQ when I do...
I took my NSX out last night as well. Needed a drive to clear my thoughts. My area doesn't begin to compare to SoCal but I'm still treated like a celeb when I'm in it.
So I'm sitting at a light watching the sun slowly sink into the trees when some brainiac in a chevy cavalier...
Mark;
Having just lost my companion of the last 13 years to liver failure as a result of a mal-treated bladder problem I can fully relate. I offer my sincerest condolences.
In the last two weeks I've experienced the most raging emotions I have ever felt. Of the reported 5 stages of grief...
Mahalo.
That'd be them.
:)
Only thing I don't like is the "pick up's only for purchases over $500 only". WTF up with that?? I live 2 hours away and would rather not chance UPS/SpedEx with CF or F'glass.
I see this cat on FleeBay selling CF and Fiberglass parts, Chaser Aerodynamics/ Aerokits.net in Maryland. Since I'm considering changing the nose and hood on my 91 I was wondering if they had good products or workmanship.
A search turned up zilch, so was wondering if anyone here has input.
Nice story. Glad to see you take the time, and to be approachable.
I'll share my young kid story...
I stopped to grab some snacks on the way to Summit Point (race track) in my Esprit. I noticed that a group of people had a small carwash by the side of the gas station. So I think what the...
Some of you are animals...
I did SanFran, to LA, to Grand Canyon, to Penna. in 5 days. Covered 3612 miles. And no tickets, but had a nice talk with a West Texas trooper over the merits of the 3.0L engine. :biggrin:
Popular Mechanics has a pic of the new convertible Civic reported to come here in '08, based on the above model. I'll have my name on the waiting list.
Fightercar;
I paid $55.75 for the intermed. bearing and $10.48 each for the inner/outter seals. I'd take $60.
Also, I can do $30 each for the CV bearings (I have two).

Scot;
Whereabouts are you located?
I'm in Saxton, about 25 minutes from Bedford. Would love to get together and talk cars.
Come on over to my shop and lets carve some of my favorite roads. :biggrin:

Fightercar;
I just did the right rear CV on my 91. Had to order the new joint from the mother country. Ended up having to buy the whole joint for just one needle bearing. If you need a bearing I have two good ones, plus I ended up buying double of the intermed. carrier bearing and seals and...
Ktan;
I believe there are three per CV. I haven't disassembled it yet to know how many for sure. I'll do it tomorrow. What might you want for 'em?
Scott
Thanks for the info Larry.
I guess I'll have to cough up the Ben Franklins... this car has only been on my lift for about 7 months now. At least I'm keeping the miles off her. :)
I've got my pass. driveshaft off replacing the intermediate shaft carrier bearing and found a bad inner CV joint/spider/roller bearings.
I spoke with Tim at Ray Laks Acura and got a princely quote of $293.21 for the whole joint (spider/rollers/case), he doesn't think one can buy the rollers...
