Car is back with the black BBS, and Esprit GT wing, this is from the last weekend of June 2009; car now has Brakeman 13" Brake Kit on all four corners, Route KS ZAZ side cowl flares, and a refreshed engine (APR hardware and MLS headgaskets) :

Are there ever any issues with the engine/emission mods and the police?


From other threads I've seen from California I've thought they were tough out in California, pulling people over, and giving summons for that stuff. Does that really happen?

That was one of the best threads I've read in a long time. Nice write-up.

The fun thing was searching old threads I had created, looking for pictures of the car at various states. It was nice to see pictures of other members cars at the same time, to see what was happening at the time, or to see where I said the car was finished, or almost finished, when it's radically different now.

The state is strict on emissions, but like many other states, there are different zones of testing. Some areas don't have rolling dyno tests, they just do an idle test, which is easier to pass. Other areas of the state have issues with street-racing, such as San Diego, and profile cars much more often.

is there anything NSX left about this car?
