Er, that’s not his room. But dipoles work better than other speakers in rooms like that, in my experience.

Yeah, I wish that was my place.
As usual, I'm bouncing around too many possibilities. Been reading up on the infinite baffle subwoofers lately where only placement seems to be key (and willingness to cut a big hole in your floor or wall). Through the subwoofer crawl, I've identified a place on the front wall where my current sub sounds best. I could cut a hole through it to my basement and make a manifold with at least (2) 15's (to counteract the reaction forces). Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

Edit - I'm looking at the Fi IB3 V2 series for the IB setup. Seems to be a popular choice.
