2005 NSX SPECIAL AHFC LEASE/PURCHASE PLAN Terms
Special lease rates available on all new 2005 NSX models. FEATURED SPECIAL LEASE*: 2005 NSX 6 Speed Manual Transmission (Model NA2165PKW) for $799.00 per month for 36 months with a $1,999.00 capitalized cost reduction. $4,193.00 total due at lease signing (includes first month’s payment, security deposit, capitalized cost reduction and AHFC upfront acquisition fee; total net capitalized cost and base monthly payment does not include tax, license, registration, options and the like). Not all buyers may qualify. Subject to limited availability. *The specific featured lease listed is not available to New York residents. New York residents should contact their dealer for New York featured lease. Terms and conditions vary for New York Residents. In addition, AHFC limits leasing terms to 39 months or less to residents and dealers in the state of Rhode Island.

You can try to negotiate the 1999 cap cost reduction as part of the deal. Asking to waive it is the same as asking for 2k off the price of the car (although the 799 lease already assumes a sales price well below MSRP). I think the dealer has enough room to do it...the question is whether they are willing to do it.

The other option is to roll the 1999 into the lease...which should increase the payment by about $60 per month.

Good luck.

$48 per month

I'm assuming the 799 lease is for 36 months. $1999 rolled in would be $57.93 per month...assuming a .0012 money factor.

$1999/36 months = 55.53 per month depreciation
$1999 * .0012 = 2.40 per month in interest
$1999 rolled in = 55.53 + 2.40 = $57.93

If it's a 39 month lease, the difference in payment is $53.65
If it's a 42 month lease, the difference in payment is $50.00
If it's a 48 month lease, the difference in payment is $44.06

IF you assume a 42 month lease with .00000 money factor, then the difference is $48....but that isn't how past 799 leases have been set up by AHFC. Then again, I haven't seen the most recent program details.
