I have driven my X on Hwy 1 to 101 and it was simply fantastic. I drove for hours without ever having a car in front of me and the road was soo smooth and clean.
101 out on the peninsula near Kalaloch is great esp. on the weekdays during the offseason - no one is out there. I've taken my car into the triple digits MPH out there, and it's very scenic.
Highway 2 can be fun although you'll share it. The North Cascades highway is great as well.
Overall pretty descent with nice curves. Not too many potholes but on summer weekends you can get a lot of company. A great time to test passing acceleration...
I haven't driven to Mount Rainier in years but it is not a thoroughfare like the other places...
