Pierce had 2 points and Garnett 6, I don't think they will have too many nights like that. Watching that game... I think the Lakers were lucky to win. They just don't have Boston's defense and I don't think they can win this series. The Celtics are the better team. You can't possibly be a Lakers fan and not be nervous the whole game. You can never tell whe the C's will come back and make a run because when the defense clamps down it means almost no offense for the other team, even the Lakers.

Jack Nicholson is fat and Stallone looks like he's had one too many face-lifts.

The site of Jack Nicholson's face turning red during the game was priceless. I thought that he peed on his pants...

Dang Boston lost.

Ah well we now have a series! Go Go Go!!!!

Pierce played bad because they played a different defense on him switching his looks and hitting him with different players. You also cannot expect Kobe to be missing all those free throws next time either, it would have changed the face of the game had he hit his shots and Gasol and Lamar played well. This is basketball and nothing is predictable. Next game, I expect Kobe to be just as aggressive and a higher percentage of free throws. See what a homecourt advantage can get you and when you scold the refs for the foul disparity? Game 2 was decided by the refs....

If the Lakers play the rest of the series the way they played last night, they will lose. Other than Kobe, the other starters shot 25% (7 of 28) from the field and committed 9 turnovers. The team missed 13 free throws and numerous layups........they should have won by 20+. Hardly championship quality play.

i never said i wasnt nervous, ofcourse i am, but it is what it is,

neither team had a great game last night, but tomorrow night it will be 2-2:wink:

Don't worry. The "old legs" in Boston are starting to show and it will play out in game 4. Both teams played poorly in game 3 but the MVP shined in the end. Still stand by Lakers in 6.

LA is going to lose tonight.

You can't double Garnett, AND Pierce, AND Allen. And any of them can hurt you. You have three guys here that are long time allstars. They have paid their dues, they know how to play, and they want this bad.

I am sorry Lakers fans, this is their time. They will not be denied.

LA is going to lose tonight.

It's 10:36 PM right now in LA. Neither team has played yet and they are not supposed to play tonight, so your prediction is already wrong. Consider this an omen for the next game tomorrow.

I love what the commentators say in the video below.

Dave don't hate  I will be looking forward to the LA win tonite.

What that game really needs is a frozen surface, boards, body checking and a goalie.

Other than that its a great game

Lakers should have finished them off in the 3rd quarter and they deserved to lose. But two of those critical fouls on Pierce were really questionable. The Gasol foul which got him to the line and that one he sold trying to go around Kobe. That was total BS, at least let them play when it gets down to the wire... The officiating is really starting to stink of what Donaghy is claiming...

Sorry Boston just beat LA, no question

I agree the Lakers lost, but the two foul calls were terrible and could have decided the game. The officiating in Game 2 had a huge disparity. Game 3 was very much on the side of the Lakers. Then this game 4 they made really questionable calls at the end of the game. I'm not saying this is one sided for Boston, game 3 was a makeup game for the officials. Clearly the complaining led to the calls they missed before. I don't like games being decided by bad officiating, even when the Lakers win like that no call on Fisher against Barry. I'd rather see the game decided by the players. With all the money involved, I think we're going to learn a lot of the dirty and true secrets of sports from Donaghy. It was Ray Allen himself I think that complained that the games were rigged once. So there you go, a Boston player that thinks the games are fixed.

We'll see how this all plays out, but the officiating whether or not the Lakers win has been horrendous.
