The rear would be rather inset into the body and caliper clearance may become an issue depending on the wheel.

maybe a 30 in the rear would be better?
18x9.0+30 would be better to match the stance of the front wheel. I assume you'll be running a narrower tire like 245-255?

I'd like to run maybe 225 in front and 275 in the rear. I have no idea about offsets. 17/18 inch combo.
the general concensus on a good 17/18 combo is 215/40/17 and 265/35/18. the offset you have on the 17/18 combo is very close to the stock offset of 55f/60r
The 225mm wide tire that will fit is very limited. I believe Falken is one of the only producers of 225/40-17. A 275mm wide tire should be on a 9.5 - 10.0 wide wheel for best contact patch.
