Hey guys I've searched numerous spots looking to see the exact fitment pictures of these specs. I have the opportunity to buy a pair of brand new ce 28 wheels for the rear of my car. My friend has 2 sizes for me to chose from. 18x10.5 18 offset or a 19x10.5 18 offset. I know this is pushing the size limits for this car but I don't mind that as I don't track the car. I understand that there might be some minor mods needed to fit them but there basically for show. I'd rather not make this a "hellaflush is the devil" thread. I'd really just like to see if anyone is running this size on a stock body as opposed to the 9.5 which is recommended. Thanks in advance.

Not gonna work unless you use stretched tires and dump the car low. I had 18x10 +19 advan model5 rears and you have to really lower the car, with camber, and I ran a 255 yoko advan ad08. Yours would be 1/4" out from there... Pushing it for sure but could use stretched tires.

Definitely will not work without a good stretched tire. I wouldn't even try.

And why are you choosing between 18 and 19 with the same offsets? Get the one that's one inch bigger than your fronts.

These just happen to be here locally on a gtr and there significantly cheaper because it's a friend deal. I already have coils and the cars pretty low now with a iforged 19x10 38ish offset with 1inch spacers and 265 strech. I haven't had to remove inner shields or roll anything yet

I also haven't ordered the fronts yet I wanted to get the most aggressive rear and then order he new fronts accordingly

If you try to do the same thing in the front (as aggressive) you will destroy your oem fenders unless you try to stance it out with stretched tires and camber and then you may still destroy them anyway because they turn so the fitment is dynamic. I've tried out aggressive fitments on the NSX and my Mercedes. Both made me hate the cars because you can't drive them hard... You can't even drive them tenderly in fact. If you're up for experimenting and having a bunch of problems that's cool but that's where you are headed right now. If it were me I would forget these wheels and move on.

Yeah I know the fronts will be another story. I wouldnt want to push quite as hard on the front but it will be aggressive. I guess worst case I will be able to use the wheels on my supra or rx7 but I just really love the look of the agressive wheels on the Nsx so I can't give up lol. I'm just stuck on rather to buy 19s or 18s. I was hoping to see more pics of wheels in these specs even if they weren't ce28s

How does the rest of the car look? Post pictures. If you have a big a$$ wing and ducted hood and side sills then yes, maybe the more aggressive wheel will work, but it's hard to suggest anything without seeing what the car looks like currently. I always try to remind myself, that no matter how much I love the car, etc, at some point I may have to sell the mods and/or car I'm buying, in your case, it will be harder to find people that want that aggressive of a wheel, or that want stretched tires, or lots of negative camber, etc. at the end, do what makes you happy, but you can achieve the look with spacers since it's for show anyway and save yourself the hassle.

Yeah I try to get some pics up. I do paint and body for a living and have a collection of 90s jap cars. I refuse to do anything to permenantely alter the car such as fender pulls or reshaping the quarters. I'm preserving the originality of the car but I do like a little spice lol. The camber the car has just came naturally as part of the lowering on coilovers.

You'll probably be fine with just a regular set of NSX friendly wheels and do crazy spacers on it for the shows. Then you still have a nice looking NsX to drive around and enjoy, and you can switch to the hellflush stance as needed, especially with coilovers.

Yeah that's more along the lines of what I'm doing. These I forged wheels are Nsx spec which to me are super weak but ima keep them as we'll so I can drive the car comfortably if need be. That is unless I got a good offer on em lol.

The wheels are 18 19 I forged. THey were rough when I got them...all flat black. I refinished them at work. Wanted something off the wall a bit. Still not in love with the look though. Most people either really love em or totally hate em lol!

I like those wheels in general but not too sure about the white as I think it works only on monoblock wheels... Plus you got the gold AND silver in there... Different strokes for different folks. Btw those look like they fit well.

There's a reason for that... Should tell you something.

Come on guys no one has wheels on there car with these specs?

I just mounted 17x8's (25mm offset- plus 25mm spacer to clear Stoptechs) with 235/40's and 18x10's (19mm offset) with 285/35's on our turbo car, here's a picture;

The car is lowered a couple inches on KWV3's, and has Cantrell Concepts 30mm wider front fenders.

Hope that helps,
Brian
