Without history on the car (1991), I would like to check
a) was car converted to R134a refrigerant
b) charging status

Where are the 2 service ports/connectors located (high pressure, low pressure)?

Yeah, that appears to be a retrofit r12 to r134a kit installed.

You can verify for yourself using "image search" on your favorite search engine.

Yep. As I recall the R12 systems used screw on fittings and R134 use the quick connect which is what is in the photos.

Thanks. Will check hi and low side pressure today (not sure if warm enough for the compressor to kick in). Then she is good to go.
