Comptech Test Pipe question

I was wondering if the COmptech test PIPE (that replaces the Catalytic converter for track use) gains any HP, and if so how much? Also is the car alot louder with the test pipe?

I saw a couple of extra hp when I put them on my car. Did not notice any change in the sound, although I'm sure there must be some difference.

I have been running the CT test pipes for about 8 months now. My first impression when I put them on was the additional throatiness of the exhaust note at idle. I would liken it to adding surround sound speakers to your home stereo...suddenly there is just more sound all around you...nice! At speed, the exhaust note has a much raspier edge to it. It's more aggressive and a good bit louder. Personally, I like it...alot!
I had several people ask me what my exhaust setup was while at NSXPO so I guess they liked it too.
