Well, nice to have stumbled on this thread, especially for those of us relative new owners, and the ones that aren't going to NSXPO to meet in person.
I'm Curtis, the "curt" in sylcurt, my wife is Sylvia, the "syl" in sylcurt.
Hobbies are sports of all kinds, anything audio video, and of course, tinkering with the NSX ...
Worked in the banking industry for 24 years throughout Western Canada, then "retired" from that to enjoy life a bit more. Somewhere along the way, got pursuaded to get back working again (because I truly missed the daily routine of work, plus the need for additional income to assist the kids with their college costs ) and have been the HR Manager for a great company here in Southern Manitoba for the last 3 yrs, that is a multi location John Deere dealership. Empty nesters and enjoying life...especially when driving the X.
I'm living in southern Manitoba, Canada, where the summers are great...just too short. 4-5 months of good NSX-ing weather at best. Then a long harsh winter.
First pic is me and the mrs at a recent local show and shine.
Next, my two kids made a surprise visit back to town that weekend....as well as my father who travelled about 12 hours from northern Saskatchewan for his annual visit with us.
Last pic, my kids in front of my son's Charger at the same show and shine...where as I am all about import, he is more of American Muscle.
I also want to publicly thank NSX prime for the great welcome and support when I first joined, the ongoing advice when I run into questions about the NSX, and the sense of family I feel from the site. I find myself needing to check in daily at some point now, to complete my day. Not only do I have my 20 year dream car, I have the support of hundreds to enjoy it with - Thanks Prime!
Can't wait for a future NSXPO closer to home to meet in person.
