Georgia: N Metro Atlanta meet?

I've had my 94 Brooklands Green NSX for just over a month and was curious if anyone in the North Metro / North Georgia / South East Tennessee group ever gets together for drives or dinner or whatever?

It only seems logical with the number of great BBQ joints and curvy roads in the North Georgia mountains.

Come to think of it, the only NSXs I've seen since I bought mine was a beautiful black NA1 over at Jackson Acura when I was having mine serviced.

I was thinking more of the North Georgia area: bounded by Rome, Chattanooga, Helen, Hiawassee (sp?), Commerce, Gainesville, etc...

I've been through Augusta a couple of times, on the way to my wife's favorite place in the south...Charleston.

I usually go up to N. GA mountains with couple of STi,Evo and M3's. I will pm you the next time we go if you like to join us. We leave around 7:30 a.m. and back home around noon. We always have a blast, Hope to see you soon. Eiffel

How about Blairsville? Its just west of Hiwassee, a drive on Hwy 74 from Chattanooga, straight up I-575/515 from Atlanta. Best of all there is great driving all around the area, especially headed toward Helen or Toccoa.

Yes, I know Blairsville... Need some time to plan a day up there so as much notice would be great. I will be either by myself, with son 14 or maybe wife but she just doesnt get it ofter,,,hehe

Another alternative, which is slightly closer for any Chattanooga and Atlanta members would be a loop going up I-575 to Ellijay, cutting across Fort Mountain to the Dalton area, and then going up or down Hwy 411.

In fact, I took the NSX to Fort Mountain State Park today. Here are some pics:
