Headlight lamps

I see the standard lamp for the NSX headlights is the H4 65/55watt.
Has anyone tried the 100/80 watt H4?
Results? Any problems?

The H4 is not the standard bulb size for the NSX. The standard bulb size is the 9006 low beam, 9005 high beam.

Beware higher-wattage bulbs. They can overheat and shatter inside the headlight housing. I had that happen on another car in which I tried them.

Maybe you meant HB4? H4 is the European NSX lightbulbs. I agree with Ken. I wouldn't use the high wattage halogen bulbs as you risk damaging the wire harness and plastic connector. I've seen them melted before on many other Honda/Acura cars and the wiring using the same 9006/9005 connector and appears to be the same gauge wiring as well. If you want better light just go HID.
