Headlight restoration and Lamin-x

Has anyone restored headlights using one of the many kits available and then Lamin-x the headlight to keep it from yellowing and hazing again?

The question: can the two processes co-exist peacefully?

I restored one headlight on my TSX (the other one did not need it) about 12 months ago. The haze returned around the winter time so the restoration lasted 8-9 months. The product I used provides a warranty but I did not register given that I only did one headlight. My loss

I want to restore both headlights now but want to Lamin-x them to protect them from deteriorating after x-months.

Thoughts?

They are all pretty much temporary crap.......toothpaste works too, they work for awhile, then it goes back to the same condition, it will last longer, if garaged.

Thanks for all the advice. jizheng, I had forgotten about the Larry Kosilla piece from Jalopnik.

So they key is the UV protection...

Thanks again, time for some elbow gease.
