how to find out wheel's offset

It's so simple to measure...

Take the wheel off and lay it face down (brake side up) on the ground.
Take a long, straight stick and lay it on top of the tire.
Measure from the bottom of the stick to the ground. (Example: 7.5 in.)
Measure from the bottom of the stick to the mounting surface. (Example: 5.25 in.)

The measurement to the ground "divided by 2" equals the centerline. So, take that measurement to the ground divided by 2 and subtract it from the measurement to the mounting surface.

If you measured it in inches, multiply the result by 25.4 to convert to millimeters.

Example:
Width (measurement to the ground) = 7.5 inches.
Depth (measurement to the mounting surface) = 5.25 inches.
Calculate centerline: 7.5 / 2 = 3.75 inches.
Calculate offset: 5.25 - 3.75 = 1.5 inches.
Convert to millimeters: 1.5 * 25.4 = 38.1mm
So the offset would be +38mm.
