Injector cleaning with pics

Hi all.

I sent my injectors away for a clean and seal replacement, here are the before and after pics. I was told they are now at factory spec.

Keen to get them back to install and test. Will post the results. :smile:

You will notice a sizable difference in performance. And probably get a little better fuel economy. But owning an NSX is not about sipping gas!

For me it was all about a good burn considering I run a 100hp single fogger NOS kit :biggrin:

Well I got them back, installed, checked for leaks and took it for a drive. To be honest I didn't feel any difference however that wasn't the intention as the task was purely maintenance driven.

If anything and it would have to be very minor, it might idle a little smoother now but maybe its the 98 Octane I am running at the moment.

I continued my maintenance and did the following:

Throttle body clean, it was very dirty
PCV valve clean and associated hosing
Spark plug replacement with regap (using NKG copper as I have NOS)
K&N panel filter clean
Reset clock fuse

Wow what a difference, no more stumble at idle, smooth acceleration up to redline and sounds a bit different also, not so cackley

IMO well worth the time spent.
