Is this the big OEM that Aerodyne was looking for?

Interesting. If I understand this correctly this is the Aerodyne technology that they have a patent on for turbos that were in the original NSX Corky Bell kit.

Anyone have any inside scoop on what happened to these guys and if they are working with Porsche?

Which new technologies will go into Porsches in the near future?

As a world first, we will have variable-turbine geometry (in the upcoming 911 Turbo). This brings further power and torque while avoiding any turbo lag. We are working on a dual-clutch system, and we are also developing gasoline direct injection. If that technology is sufficiently developed, we will bring it to series production.

Yep, interesting. But reading between the lines it leaves room for something other than variable vanes, which is what the Aerodynes have. So, while it could be the same technology, it could also be something else - say maybe a turbine inlet that changes geometry to produce faster flow at boost-up and then enlarges for greater cfm.
