Late NA2 Shocks to NA1?

A friend with a recently purchased '96 is interested in some late model coil overs (from a 2002). The factory parts listing indicates different part numbers for 91-2001 vs 2002-2005. On the other hand all the aftermarket shocks (Koni, Tein, etc.) seem to show only one shock set that fits 91-2005 NSX. Will late NA2 coil overs fit a NA1?

The Coilovers will fit as will almost all aftermarket springs and struts.

OEM struts, however, have changed like the springs mainly because of the Targa (not necessarily NA1 vs NA2).

According to the NSXWiki:
NSX Wiki said:
The NSX-T also has different suspension rates than the coupe. At low rates of wheel travel, T front rebound and compression rates are 7% softer. At higher rates, T rebound is 21% softer, compression is 32% softer. At high rates, T rebound is 15% softer, compression is 21% softer. Rear suspension varies similarly, while the T's (hollow) anti-roll bars are smaller and have less wall thickness.
