Let's put a race together! (Forza 2 on Xbox Live)

I know there's quite a few of us on here that enjoy the vieo games and have Xbox 360... so to those of you that have Forza Motorsports 2, I say... Let's get it on!

There's at least 5 or 6 guys on here that have FM2, so let's set up a race. I was thinking in the evening around 9pm EST. We can do all NSX's at Nurb and just have fun for a coupla hours... As soon as we get enough guys together for a race, we can set a date and time and I will host a private room with a password for Prime members. My "Live" name is SHORTBUS HER0. :biggrin:

looks like we've got enough to put together a race! Now we just need to set a time and date. I'm sure everyone can agree 9pm EST is a good time to make sure everybody can get on and off at a decent hour... I'm thinking Thursday or Friday Night would be good, but I know some people are busy til' the weekend, so we can also do it Sat during the day or Sunday.

Skill isn't really a requirement since it's just for fun. I imagine the first few races we will do with "collisions off" until everybody gets used to everybody elses driving styles (I am Very Agressive off the line, but mellow out after the first lap). If it's okay with everybody else, I was going to limit it to NSX-R's only (any year), unless there are some other suggestions. Thurs night seems to work for most, so for right now that is the plan...

ko, I don't have your number anymore... (I forgot to save it and it rotated out of my call log). Everybody have headsets?

We have similar tastes in TV's. Hopefully yours in an XBR2. My XBR1 had 4 light engines until they finally broke down and replaced it with a XBR2. Oh, and if you were really "Representing" you'd be driving an NSX instead of a Zonda. :biggrin:

Its all in the setup you can go on line and get setups for free and tune them to your style that is what i did

OK...

I went online to set-up the race/room to get this thing ready for tomorrow (Thursday) night. Either I don't know what the hell I'm doing, or there is no way to make a "Private Race", so it appears ANYONE can enter the race. If anyone knows how to set up a Private race, let me know. Nonetheless... here are the parameters and what you will need to do...

It is going to be a "series race" meaning there are going to be five tracks/races back to back, five laps each. The ONLY restriction is that you MUST use an "A" Class Honda NSX-R (any year, and not a GT). If you do not already have one, you need to buy an NSX-R in Career mode and build it up to class "A" for use in the race (make sure you have a good balance of power and handling, i.e. tires/suspension). Nurb is the last track, and at 12+ miles x5 laps... it's gonna be a loooong race, so be prepared. The other four are all approx 2.5 miles

The easiest way to do this without knowing how to create a private room is to have anybody who wants to join send me a friend invite, then I will invite them to the race. You can send a friend invite ANY TIME, then when I log on and get the race set up, I will invite everybody. I will be on Thursday starting around 530pm, which will give everyone time to practice and set up their cars or do whatever they need to do so we can get racing at 6pm.
