lighter flopping

Anybody have any experiance with cig lighter coming loose. Not a huge prob till cell needs charging, seems tough to access backside of .

Never... Sorry that's not too helpful I know but mine have all been tight!

Maybe someone shoved a cheap recharger in there which did not fit properly or maybe your cell re-charger is the fault, not being the correct size?

Are all male sockets you put in the cigarette lighter loose or just your cell?

Sorry to revive this thread but I have the same problem and I thought it was better than starting a new one. My socket popped out as I was removing my charger from the cigarette lighter. Now the connection is iffy. Sometimes it does not work and I have to move the plug around to have the proper connection. Is it possible to reattach the socket without having to remove the dash?

Unfortunately no, you will need to fix it from the back of the dash face. The socket has a nut behind it that has come loose. I have seen this before.
