Just got my car home. (Hawaii) I just look through all the paperwork and
found that my car has lo jack. (95-nsx) I dont even know if it works here
in Hawaii. If it dont work here, can I just take it out? Should I leave it in?
It runs fine no problems yet. If I sould take it out, is it had to do?
Thanks for any advice,

George

The only reason you would want to remove the LJ is for weight savings, a couple of ounces. It has some value if the car is brought back to CONUS.

You are going to have to hunt for it, they supposedly "hide it". Good places on the NSX to look: trunk and behind glove box.

In dense urban settings the LJ can be very VERY difficult to track down, but it DOES work. Thieves have modified their "technique" by stealing cars and letting them sit for several days before they are dismantled, VIN switched or packed up for overseas customers. They know the police can't spend the constant surveillance required to make an arrest. So if the car is still around a few days after the theft, they will continue with their plan.
