After finding out the hard way that unlocking the drivers door with anything from a paper clip to a jiggle key to the actual key, DISARMS the factory security, I opted to go with an aftermarket, stand-alone alarm that also sets off the keychain fob if the alarm is triggered. Almost all aftermarket alarms (Clifford, Viper, etc.) are owned and made by DEI. I also have mine wired for the trunk and remote start. I also have my 1995 keyless entry module, antenna and remotes in a ziploc bag.

Thanks everyone! Just picked it up from Don's and went for a short cruise.

Unfortunately it got foggy up here in SF as it sometimes does in the afternoon, so I had to drive very "safely"... But Cars and Coffee is Saturday! Woooo!
